Food Review: Five Leaves In Greenpoint, Brooklyn

five leaves brooklyn

04/11/12 - A few days ago we got the chance to sneak into Five Leaves in Greenpoint for a late dinner and we thought it was a place worth mentioning. It's a tiny place off of Bedford, but it's not no hole in the wall. It's got a europe meets Brooklyn feel and you could go there for late dessert, an early coffee, or a romantic date. Two things we want to suggest: Grab a Jameson and ginger (they pour them the way we like them - we think you'll agree) and try the duck risotto. It's an awesome and interesting mix of flavors. The only thing we didn't like? The wait. The place was packed. Get there early if you want a table quickly.
